We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the platform, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, or otherwise contact us.

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and any display name you choose to provide.
  • Location and Device Data: When a Tagged & Found QR code is scanned, we collect the IP address and geolocation data of the scanning device. This is strictly used to provide the tag owner with a map location of where their luggage was scanned.
  • Payment Information: If you purchase a Premium Tag, your payment data is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect or receive:

  • To facilitate account creation and the logon process.
  • To send you real-time email alerts when your luggage tag is scanned.
  • To populate the dashboard maps with the location of scanned tags.
  • To manage user accounts and provide customer support.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your account data and tag configurations are securely stored within our MongoDB database infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no internet-based platform is 100% secure.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf (e.g., email delivery services, hosting providers, and payment processors).
